What we know or think we know:
Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones - from TV show Girls, movies The Theory of Everything, Felicia in Spider-man 2 2014, etc) female lead of the movie
Galen Erso Jyn’s father played by Mads Mikkelsen (the dude from the tv show Hannibal, etc) a scientist who both the Empire and the Rebels have interest in. We’ll probably see him in flashbacks.
Captain Cassian Andor (played by Diego Luna in such films as Milk, The Terminal, Elysium, etc) maybe the male lead?
Bodhi Rook (played by Riz Ahmed in TV series The Night Of & couple other things ) might be the sidekick of Cassian Andor
Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker an awesome actor in stuff like Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Platoon, The Last King of Scotland, The Crying Game and TV series like Criminal Minds, The Shield and ER, etc )
Baze Malbus (Jiang Wen is a Chinese film actor in a ton of movies I've never heard of) a freelance assassin who was active during the days of the Galactic Empire. He was a devoted protector of his friend and partner Chirrut Îmwe
Chirrut Îmwe (played by Donnie Yen China/Boston. He was in Blade 2 and TONS of martial arts movies / also coach of Jet Li) Chirrut Îmwe was a blind human male, born on the moon Jedha and a spiritual warrior-monk who was active during the days of the Galactic Empire. Alongside his friend and protector, Baze Malbus Though not sensitive to it, Îmwe was a strong believer of the Force and the Jedi way. His devotion to spirituality helped him overcome his blindness and become a formidable warrior
K-02SO (killer droid voiced by Alan Tudyk was Hoban "Wash" Washburne in Firefly/Serenity, in: iRobot, Zootopia, Frozen, Wreck it Ralph & tons of other stuff & tons of other stuff )
Orson Krennic (played by Ben Mendelsohn an Australian actor - lots of movies... had a small role in The Dark Knight Rises with Bane) Orson was responsible for protecting the security of the Death Star project and commanded a squad of death troopers
Darth Vader - voiced by Mr James Earl Jones
