Our impressions
Vladz: The Music List of Songs by Artist - incredible, over 100 songs put you in that time frame, language & dialect - glad they didn’t go political correct and let you experience the whole vibe, big city, cool stuff to do, cool ways to kill people, gators, old faces (Vito), LOVE THIS GAME !!!
TMO: Hanger 13 did a great time of putting the late 60’s in the South to life with damn good story. Hangar 13, led by industry veteran Haden Blackman, formerly creative director for LucasArts. The music pulls you in along the characters, voice acting, and finally the city New Bourdeaux
Gears of War 4
Our impressions
Vladz: Smooth, Beautiful, Felt like Gears, multiplatform / play anywhere is an awesome benefit - Co-op, but they should allow xbox vs pc if you are playing with a controller…. That being said, I’m not sure how they’d know/it would work. Other than that… awesome to have a new Gears. Not sold on the campaign… Didn’t like the parts of ACT 1 that much… too many DBs, doors and more doors and more DBs. Then the ‘Oh, this is where they want us to see what Horde mode is all about’ - co-op would have been better experience there. I guess, ACT 2 & 3 were much better. But concerned that with only another full ACT to go (5 chapters) and the last one with only 2 chapters I hope it is satisfying. Sort of wished the would have expanded the visual style more. Looked like Gears of old but better colors, reminded me of Fable sort of.
Derek: very pretty love the mp , gameplay was smooth , the story made me sad to see old people , new guns feel good except the enforcer feels weak sauce , horde was great a bit tougher, new the same enemies lol so far great all around experience.
Jay: Beautiful graphics, smoothest multiplayer yet. Dodgeball is the most fun new multiplayer gametype i’ve played in years. Horde is fun and tough. I haven’t had a chance to play the campaign yet.
