Patreon reportedly valued at $450m - We talked previously about how YouTube is censoring of sorts by deciding who gets paid for their content via advertisers (removing this source if you have a gun or talk about a gun… even a Destiny ray gun or whatever in your content) Well… Money will find a way. The key is in Patreon's higher payouts for creators. YouTube for example pays channel hosts 55% of the ad revenue earned from their videos, while Patreon promises 95% of subscribers' fees go to the creator.
