* The Division 2 is not the only division being talked about this week. And NO we aren’t talking about if the Earth is flat or how Gravity works, but we are going to talk about another division. Is Captain Marvel a good movie? * I didn’t see it, so I can’t say but here are some sites with reviews* Rotten Tomatoes.com - by the masses * IMDB - by the both Male and Female and different age groups* IGN Movie Reviews by Meg Downey * Metacritic.com * Cinemablend.com male movie critic - Eric Eisenberg & Cinemablend.com - female movie critic - Jessica Rawden * How a simple ‘news’ tag can change everything - YouTube added ‘News’ tag & made YouTuber content providers videos criticizing "Brie Larson" all but disappear. * If you searched “Brie Larson” on YouTube a couple of days ago, the top search results were calls for a boycott of Captain Marvel, and angry rants about Larson’s involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With one small change, YouTube made all of that disappear.
This week, YouTube recategorized “Brie Larson” as a newsworthy search term. That does one very important job: it makes the search algorithm surface videos from authoritative sources on a subject. Instead of videos from individual creators, YouTube responds with videos from Entertainment Tonight, ABC, CBS, CNN, and other news outlets first.
* The Reviews: IMDB was showing a 33% positive rating, then removed over 54,000 reviews and it only moved up to 36% Go to the 4:12 mark in this video - Then they added more reviews and about 6350 reviews later it dropped to 34% * Here is where the fire started Brie Larson's speech at Crystal Award for Excellence in Film 2018 * This is the ‘report’ she was quoting data from: Annenberg.usc.edu * What I can confirm is the Captain Marvel Soundtrack is pretty awesome
* HALO News: Halo: The Master Chief Collection PC headed to Steam and Windows 10* Halo: Reach to join Halo: The Master Chief Collection with 4K 60 FPS
