In episode eight our hosts first begin by discussing the panel that was recently held on the importance and implications of renaming buildings. As the university continues to contend with the renaming of the Divinity and Religious Studies Building, the students, faculty and administrators who gathered at the event learned about how names tell stories, but also how those who choose these names bear a privileged power, and thus, responsibility. Next, Cooper and Evan sit down with Dr. Sean Hannah, who served in the army for 26 years and is now a professor of management and holder of the Tylee Wilson Chair at the Wake Forest School of Business. Among other topics, Hannah tells the hosts about his distinction of being among the top percent of researchers worldwide across all sciences based on citations to his research. Lastly, Elisabeth Kuguru joins the show to share how her experiences at Wake Forest differ from the years she spent in Kenya, among other parts of the world.
