In episode 3, we begin with a discussion of the release of the 2022 U.S. News & World Report, which ranked Wake Forest No. 28 out of 1,466 bachelor’s degree-granting schools and national universities. Afterward, Paul Whitener joins the show to discuss the WakerSpace, a community ‘makerspace’ located in the back of Lot Q. Mr. Whitener, the Assistant Director of Digital Fabrication and Maker Education, explains to Cooper and Evan the different equipment students can access and the projects which he and his team can assist them in creating. Lastly, Ben Conroy joins the show to speak about his recent story, which explains how mental health services on campus such as the CARE Team are working to address heightened volumes of anxiety during this tumultuous fall semester.
