Reflection/Discussion Questions

1.) Why do you think God often waits until we are seeking Him with all of our hearts before revealing Himself more deeply to us?

2.) What are those "idols" of the heart, or "broken cisterns" that you find yourself seeking for comfort, pleasure, joy, security, guidance, etc.?

3.) Take some time to turn fully away from these. It is not enough to simply acknowledge them. They must be forsaken in order to experience the full life of the Spirit God has promised you in the Gospel.
