She started the hugely successful online zoom room called Unmuted Comedy which has produced 36 weekly shows during lockdown. Described as “More like a party than a school exam” Unmuted Comedy is Based in Melbourne, attracting high quality local and international comics each week often from 5 different time zones inspiring Paula to develop the new time zone “Paula Ferrari Time” or “pft”

Her hobbies include being the mother of 3 children and training speech pathology students how to treat people who stutter. She also runs a charity called FGM Restoration Australia which provides support for the women in Australia living with the effects of female genital mutilation.
