I wrote this song in my heart and my head back in 1987 when my mum died; however, I did not write my first song until 2004 and this is one that features in my musical. It is beautifully sung by Bee Church and my melody is arranged and played by James Gladson.

I am a retired nurse that discovered that she could write songs. To my surprise after writing my first song at 58 years old I found I was able to write lyrics for a variety of genres and make up melodies. By then singing the words to musicians/music director/producers the backing tracks are then made and vocalists record. I do not wish to be a performer. I love writing songs and am lucky enough to have met many very talented musicians and singers who are willing to work with me.
