Ms. Smith writes with humor, sage advice and interesting little historical tidbits. I especially like the pointers she gives to both the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom. The reader is taken through each step of the wedding process, from before the proposal has been made to when the new family has been formed. She explores the multitude of choices required for a wedding and the things that must be considered. Who knew that if you had a large home wedding youâd need to make sure your circuit breaker box could handle the additional load for the porta potties? Her sensitivity in how to include the main players and get their input while still maintaining a budget and your sanity is invaluable. I found it a very helpful and engaging book and would suggest it to anyone who needed to plan a wedding.
Howw to be the best mother-of-the-bride
I enjoyed this book because not only is it filled with good advice, it's lighthearted and fun read as well. If you are an "MOB" :) I highly recommend this as a very helpful read to keep your sanity and your daughter's sanity intact through the wedding planning process! Good advice included for MOGs (mothers of the groom) as well.
