Oh Shoot!

I am joined by the amazing Alexis Blake in this episode to chat all about Captain Marvel. I am a firm believer that Captain Marvel is an underrated film and does not deserve half the hate and criticisms it receives. Now is it the best Marvel film? No, but it holds its own and still has some wonderful moments and introduces us to a really amazing character.

Alexis comes through with some wonderful comic book knowledge (which we all know I always appreciate!) which brings some great insight and even got me excited to get my hands on a few Captain Marvel runs! Now we don't just stop with discussing this one movie, we take to discussing a bit on Eternals in regards to diversity and the importance of it. We also take a second to talk our hopes for The Marvels which releases in 2023.

I hope you all enjoy this one!

Michael and I take some time to discuss and give this movie some love, as it's one that's not too popular amongst fans. This is a bit of an underrated gem that has many great moments! I'm a big fan of Scott Lang (and Paul Rudd) so I really can't help but be a bit biased when it comes to this movie.

Michael comes through with some comic knowledge which I always love and appreciate! I love when we can circle back to some source material or just even discuss where some changes were made. As well, we chat about the upcoming third Ant-Man movie, Quantumania where Kang is our big bad villain! I don't know about you, but I am VERY excited to see how everything plays out.

This movie also answers the question we were all asking after watching Infinity War...where the hell was Scott during it all and did he dust?!

I hope you all enjoy this one!

This is it. It's the Infinity War. Thanos is here and he did not come to play!

This movie is...stressful. You get blindsided left and right and then at the end of it, you're sitting there wondering what the f*ck just happened.

In this episode, Laiba and I highlight some moments that really stick out to us, of course going over the heartbreak that occurs during this movie. I mean how can that not be discussed? Now we do jump around a bit from topic to topic but with this movie? There's just SO much to discuss and it's so easy to connect all the different moments. As well, we do take a moment to talk about Spider-Man: No Way Home for a short while, we're both very excited to see the movie and since our Spidey-boy is in this movie, it felt right to discuss it.

BUT WAIT.....THERE'S MORE!

Towards the end of the episode, we take a moment to discuss goals and manifestation, specifically on how we can achieve anything with the right mindset! We talk about how we will be heading to premieres in the near future and get the opportunity to meet some incredible creators we admire. This is an incredible segment of the podcast and I highly recommend listening in.

I hope you all enjoy this one!

This is a fun one! Laiba and I get right into it and express our love for Thor: Ragnarok and the incredible characters we get to see in it. As well we, of course, share some love for the amazing cast we get with this movie! Chris? Love. Tom? Love. Cate? Love. Jeff? Love. Mark? Love. Tessa? Love. TAIKA WAITITI? LOVE!

One of our favourite aspects of this movie is the development of Thor and Loki's relationship and that's something that has been such an important factor in Thor's journey and his movies. We also touch on our disdain for people who post spoilers and leaks, even going over what we would have hated to see spoiled before this movie came out.

I hope you all enjoy this one!

Black Panther is an incredible Marvel movie and is easily in the top five for me. In this episode, Johnny and I cover a number of topics in regards to this movie, with a bit of focus on representation and its importance in film. We talk about our love and appreciation for the movie, Chadwick Boseman, and Winston Duke! We also get into discussing a few other Marvel projects and even chat about cosplay!

I've got a short and sweet episode for you here! I chat a little about Gamora & Nebula and how their relationship and bond have changed. As well, of course, I had to talk a bit about Yondu & Peter - their bond is very important and they have both been a big part of each other's lives. Yondu has become one of my favourite Guardians characters and sacrifice is one that has stuck with me for a while. Now, of course, I briefly had to talk about the casting of Will Poulter as Adam Warlock in Vol 3! This is a casting choice I'm very excited about and I can't wait for more news to come out about it. Last but not least...it wouldn't be an episode on Guardians of the Galaxy if I didn't express my love for the soundtrack for a minute! Really, it's one of my favourite things about these movies!

Whenever I think of Doctor Strange, one of the first things that come to mind is the visual effects of the movie. The entire movie is incredibly beautiful when it comes to it. As well, it is another origin story! I'm a total sucker for these and love that we get a new character introduced to the MCU. That's another thing I love about Phase Three, all the great new characters we get to meet!

Enjoy!

This is one massive episode! I was super excited for this one and I can't believe it's out now! I have a major love/hate relationship with this movie for a number of reasons. However, I have a lot of moments I love and we get to meet one of my favourite superheroes in this movie AND we get introduced to a villain I love. The main event of this episode is my discussions with four phenomenal guests on Team Iron Man and Team Captain America. I had a discussion with each one to gain some insight into why they are on the team that they are. Buckle up, this is a big one. Enjoy!

And with this episode...Phase Two is complete!! Next up is Phase 3 and that is going to be one hell of a ride!

In this episode though, I talk about Ant-Man and focus a bit on Scott Lang and the incredible man who plays him, Paul Rudd. Basically, I just mention a few times how much I love him!

As well, I talk a bit about the show Hot Ones and how much I think YOU should watch it if you have never seen an episode. It is well worth it, I promise! To finish things off, I cover a couple of the connections we get to past and future movies including a quick little moment that teases a new character in a movie in Phase Three.

Enjoy!
