Guest Speaker Bio
Sarah Schaefer, MS, CCC-SLP, 
Sarah Schaefer is a Speech-Language Pathologist that currently works in the educational setting.  She had a previous career as an American Sign Language Interpreter, and continued her education in Communication Sciences and Disorders.  After completing her graduate program, she worked in a pediatric out-patient clinic with a variety of clients from birth to adult.  She specialized in early language development for clients with Downs Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
After working several years in the medical setting, she accepted a position as an Educational Speech-Language Pathologist in the elementary school setting where she continues working with a variety of populations. 
In addition, she has been working as an Adjunct Professor and Clinical Supervisor at St. Cloud State University’s (SCSU) Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has taught several undergraduate courses, and has supervised graduate level students to provide therapy to clients at SCSU’s Speech-Language Hearing Clinic.  At t
