About Our Guest

State Representative Juanita Brent was elected to the Ohio State House, District 12 (Cleveland area) in 2018. She is currently a ranking member on the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee and she also serves on the Commerce & Labor and the Transportation & Public Safety Committees. Juanita passionately fights for the most vulnerable – women, children, LGBTQ, those who are elderly or disabled, and people of color. As a former board member of the Health Care Service Corporation, the largest customer-owned health insurer in the country, Juanita knows how important it is to provide women and families with access to affordable, quality health care. Rep. Brent has a proven record that shows her dedication to the issues that matter most to her district. When re-elected, Juanita will continue to serve the needs of district 12 and to give a voice to those who need it most.
