The guest on this show shares experiences as an African-American female learning the importance of being prepared to compete in a society that is not favorable to people of color, especially Africans of the diaspora.  She shares stories about preparing her daughters for the real world to make sure they are prepared and have a clear picture of their self-worth as a human being participated in a system that has systemic biases towards people of color.
