You may have noticed earlier this week that a man slapped another man for saying something about his wife which he didn't like. That in itself isn't especially newsworthy. But when the slapper is Hollywood star Will Smith, the slappee(?) is world-leading comedian Chris Rock and the slap was broadcast live to a global audience during the 94th Academy Awards ceremony, well, people are going to notice.
