If you've been paying close attention to the news lately it feels eerily like the eye of the storm this last week or so. Perhaps we've just built up a "crisis media tolerance" to the point now where unless there's bombs dropping or robots marching into factories to steal human jobs, we're not affected. But that's actually highlighted something really important to us here on our Homestead - we didn't start to develop a resilience and self-sufficiency mindset ad way of life in response to all that drama - we were doing it anyway because it just makes good sense.
