Emergency crews are now urgently working on the catastrophic oil spill that’s ongoing in the Solomon Islands. The vessel Solomon Trader was washed up on the reef of Rennell Island early last month, and experts say it’s leaked up to 100 tonnes of oil now stretching out over six kilometres from the ship.
