Tom Gazzola wraps up what happened between the Oilers and the Penguins!

 

Former NHLer Matt Kassian joins the show for Game Changers to give his insight on the matchup.

 

The Oilers had McDavid scoring to make it 1-0 and Ekholm was able to make it 2-0 on the one tee to take the lead into the second period.

 

No scoring in the second period but chances did open up a bit for both sides and the Pens got a few good shifts against Edmonton in the offensive zone.

 

Nurse got two goals in the third period to help his team win the game 4-0. Calvin Pickard got 41 saves in the victory to help get the team shutout

 

Matt Kassian tells his stories of trade deadline day and how Henrique and Carrick might be adjusting to everything.

 

They then dive into the game and recap the road trip for the Oilers and how the Oilers have been playing recently and take a second to look toward the playoffs for the orange and blue.

 

Kass and Tom also look at Crosby and where his Pens are headed. Does Crosby get traded? Does he want to go to another team to win? Will he stick around for the rebuild?

 

We hear the voices of Kris Knoblauch, Darnell Nurse and Connor McDavid before wrapping up the show with the Damon Bunting Player of the Game picked by Zachticum and given to Calvin Pickard for his strong game helping the team get the shared shutout vitory.
