The Edmonton Oilers third period comeback fell short as Phillip Danault scored the go-ahead goal with 42 seconds left in the game to lead the Kings to a 6-5 win. Lots to discuss from the game as McDavid had four points, Stuart Skinner needs to be better,  brutal giveaways by Bouchard led to two goals and overall the Oil were good for only 20 minutes on the night which cost them Game 1.
