Women have been switching their pharmaceutical meds for marijuana at a much higher rate than men, probably because of how well it works for the long list of issues females face in their lives.

People with uteruses say cannabis is an essential pain reliever each month, and it helps to lessen the hot flashes from menopause. Countless women also say it enhances their libidos and sexual experiences. But then some studies say cannabis is not the best option for those who are pregnant, trying to conceive or are on certain medications.

In this episode, host Brit Smith learns all about cannabis for women’s health with Dr. Becky Lynn, OBGYN, menopause specialist, sexual health expert, and the CEO and founder of Evora Women’s Health in St. Louis Missouri.

Dr. Lynn explains how females can use cannabis for pain associated with periods, endometriosis, chronic pelvic issues, and sleep and anxiety. She also covers what studies show about cannabis use for women trying to conceive, pregnant people who may want to try it for nausea or stress, and how it can be best used during menopause.
