About Okasha Kameny
From the publisher's feed
Okasha Kameny, also spelled Okasha Kamina or Sheikh Okasha Kameny, is a Quran reciter from Ghana known for his murattal-style delivery in the Hafs ‘an ‘Asim riwāyah. His recordings include full surahs such as At-Toor, An-Najm, Hud, Al-Mulk, Ash-Shura, and At-Tur, featured in curated playlists and audio apps.
Active since at least 2017, Okasha leads congregational prayers—particularly Isha and Taraweeh—in both international mosques and Ghanaian community centers. His recitations are valued for their balanced pacing, precise Tajwīd, and emotive presence, appealing to listeners seeking prayerful and reflective Qur’anic recitation.
