In 1979, two men entered the Douglass Family home in Oklahoma, when they left, two people would be dead and two would be fighting for their lives. The killers would continue on robbing multiple people and killing two more. Once they were finally caught, the surviving Douglass Family members would have to fight to keep them behind bars, inspiring a movie to be made about the horrific events.Fun Fact: Girl Scout cookies were first sold in Muskogee, Oklahoma in 1917. This week we are covering a serial killer out of Huntsville, Texas. Daniel Lee Corwin killed three women in the East Texas area and attempted to kill two others. He was finally caught when one of his victims survived and was determined to find her attacker.Fun Fact: The Texas State Penitentiary at Huntsville opened in 1849, one year after the state legislature created the penitentiary system.
