Old Gamer’s Almanac

Sorry we missed last week! This week we're back and we're starting a new mini-arc of episodes looking back at the Nintendo 64. Consider this episode your general overview of the console and what it meant to us personally, also we close the episode with a discussion on a recent Patreon poll asking listeners to rank the greatest N64 games of all time.

Our trio screws around a lot and I guess at some point they talk about Arc Raiders.

More importantly they pay a small tribute to a friend of theirs who is gone.

Farewell, Nariko.

This time Hunter, Jamie, and Aaron are talking about BIG WALK. A game that they love deeply.

Also it's good to be back!

Guest Host Exothermic drops by the feed to talk about a Kirby game for the Game Boy you might have never heard of! Speaking of which, what is this show now? Maybe you'll find out more once I finish my move to NYC.

Hey friends sorry the feed has been extremely inconsistent as of late, I'm sorta going through a time of great upheaval! But I feel like once the dust settles I'm going to be able to provide you with a much better version of this show. This week Hunter and Jamie sit down to talk about an old favorite in order to get some new perspective on a Sega Saturn masterpiece. Also Jamie talks a lot about the new Mario Galaxy movie.

Hey we're going to be a Monday show for a while! I've been working on some format changes in the background for both OGA and SCPT so that's been causing delays and other things but we're gonna be switching our release days since I don't have anything that comes out on Mondays and tbh it's just better for me this way. This week Me, Jamie, and EJ talk about Slay The Spire 2 which is essentially going to ruin productivity in this country once and for all! Also we talk about Heavyweights again.

Hunter and Jamie are back on the couch to go on kind of a lot of wild tangents, prepare yourself for that kind of episode. We do talk a lot about Mega Man though, generally and then also specifically MM X3 so check it out! Also sorry about the lack of episode last week I've been having a weird time in my life!

Jamie Carbone is back on the couch with Hunter and we're talking about a bunch of games that were demo'd this week at Steam Next Fest. Fun discussion if you're interested in getting a bunch of impressions on a wide selection of new games. We actually found a lot of good things I sincerely think you should play. Chapters are marked so you can skip to what you want to hear about!
