Keep the heart with all vigilance for out of it flow the springs of life...The Scriptures exhort us to guard our hearts above all else. Life, character, choices and relationship flow from the center of who we are as human beings. Focusing of the wisdom of God in Scripture and walking his paths help us to see Jesus in the gospel and have our hearts transformed. Our hearts are guarded through discernment and faithfulness to Jesus not by walling them away in cold legalism.
