Old Soul Young World

In this special edition LIVE podcast, a powerful evening rooted in reflection, creativity, and connection—all centered on the phrase “Word is Bond.” This timeless expression, born from Black and Hip-Hop culture, represents more than just keeping a promise; it’s about integrity, truth, and honoring the weight our words carry in every space we move through—onstage, in relationships, and in community.💬 Our featured artists — Yelena “La Rosa”, Nate Nics, Ashanti Eva Davenport, and Paradoxic King — unpack what “Word is Bond” means to them. Through an open and impactful panel conversation, they reflect on how vulnerability, authenticity, and intentional expression shape their work and personal journeys. Each artist brings a unique interpretation of the phrase—some see it as an oath, others as a source of healing, power, or resistance—and they bring those meanings to life through their art.🎤 Following the panel, each artist graced the Palette stage with live performances, offering a raw, moving expression of their truth. Stick around to the end of the episode to experience these live sets and feel the full emotional resonance of the night.🍴 Guests enjoyed curated bites from Palette Kitchen and explored a vibrant showcase of local community vendors: Your Wrld, Millennium Latino Project, HeartLyxs, and Magna Beauty.🎥 A huge thank-you to SKThaGr8, Borii Shoots, and Peabody Access TV for capturing the night with stellar production, videography, and photography.👉 Watch, reflect, and witness how words—when spoken with intention—can bond us, build us, and move us.📍 Recorded LIVE on Friday, April 11th, 2025 at Palette in Lynn, MA (Greater Boston)
