Olympic Highlights Day 15: USA Sweeps 4x400m Relays


Day 15 of the Paris Olympics brought record-breaking performances and historic moments! The U.S. swept both the men's and women's 4x400m relays in stunning fashion, with the women setting a new American record and the men breaking the Olympic record. Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone added another gold to her collection, and 16-year-old Quincy Wilson became the youngest male Olympic track and field gold medalist ever.

Lydia Ko made history by winning gold in women’s golf, becoming the first golfer ever to earn three Olympic medals. In the women's 100m hurdles, Team USA's Masai Russell claimed gold in her Olympic debut, defeating the defending champion, Jasmine Camacho-Quinn.
In other highlights, Tamirat Tola of Ethiopia set a new Olympic record to win the men's marathon, and France's volleyball team defended their title with a gold medal win over Poland.
Brooke Raboutou earned silver in the women's bouldering and lead combined final, while Grant Fisher became the first U.S. man to medal in both the 5000m and 10,000m with his bronze finish. The day also saw dramatic showdowns in high jump, rhythmic gymnastics, taekwondo, and more.
