12.30.21. Omicronology

This week, with the arrival of the new Omicron variant of COVID 19, we look at what is known, and what experts are saying as we head toward the holidays. 

This week, after we present an update on Donald Trump's prospective 2024 running mates, we analyze news that Jack Dorsey has decided to step away from his role as CEO of social media giant Twitter (Dorsey has provided no comment on whether or not he could be in the rankings as one of Trump's possible VP candidates). We also look at the latest in the Jeffrey Epstein saga, as the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell begins, and the FAA has released new files about where the rich pedophile had flown in the last years prior to his arrest.

Then we shift our attention over to the new omicron variant of COVID 19, first detected in South Africa and thereby prompting travel bans from many African nations. As the first instance of the variant in the United States has just made headlines, what are experts saying about this latest mutation of the coronavirus? We look at this, and much more, on this week's installment of Middle Theory.
