This episode takes a deep dive into the subject of weight loss surgery with the amazing Author and Life Coach, Deborah Fletcher. Deborah has an amazing story of resilience and strength, having been through a significant surgery as a result of being overweight; weight loss surgery. When she had the surgery 16 years ago there was very little information available to research, and even less support and aftercare. 

This is an honest and inspiring account of a woman who grew up in South Africa in the 1960's, before moving back to the UK and being shipped off to boarding school. She struggled with negative emotions and little self-worth for many years before deciding at 300lbs that enough was enough, and made the decision to pay for weight loss surgery thinking that this would be her saviour - the silver bullet. 

However, she realised that it wasn't just her physical body that needed some TLC, but her mind and her thoughts as well. Deborah has gone from the depths of self-loathing to rise like a phoenix from the ashes of her life's challenges. She now prides herself on starting the important conversation around weight loss surgery to educate and inform the world of 'The Truth About Weight Loss Surgery'.
