Terri V Steward is a woman who wears many hats. She is a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, and a teacher. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in South Georgia. She attended Albany State University and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She went on to obtain her Special Education Certification at Valdosta State University, and soon after, became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated with the Valdosta Alumnae Chapter.
While teaching Special Education for 14 years, she earned her Master’s degree in Education at Cambridge College and then went on to earn her Education Specialist degree at Nova Southeastern University. She is married to Charles L. Steward, and together they have a beautiful, smart seven-year-old daughter, Tristen Alanah Steward.
Her hobbies include reading, traveling, shopping, cooking, watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends. She describes herself as having “an adventurous spirit and is always willing to try something new.” She shares her mother’s story of love, triumph, and pain with the world in her first published book, Playing While Hurt.
Mrs. Steward currently resides in Valdosta, Georgia.
