In this episode, I talk about my journey as a 1st generation immigrant. Immigrating to Miami, Florida from the Virgin Islands was the beginning of my identity struggles. My new life made me feel out of place, different and uncertain of belonging. Over time I learned to embrace what seemed to be an unconventional West Indian upbringing, get comfortable with my unique identity + discover my purpose to THRIVE.
