In this week’s episode, Nicole talks with Phil Leslie. Phil is an ecosystem builder and an intentional and natural connector.  In the conversation, Phil defines Kindness as actions that are not transactional, towards the benefit of others, expecting nothing in return. He stresses that those actions need to be scale appropriate, that they can be easily incorporated into people’s daily routines. He discusses the role of Kindness in the future of work and how Kindness can’t be left to chance but it needs to be built into the dna of the company.

Phil is currently Managing Partner of Workbox Ventures, where he seeks to grow the firm’s impact on the Future of Work through their accelerator program and emerging venture fund. Previously, Phil grew and exited two technology ventures after beginning his career at Microsoft working on the earliest IoT technologies.
