Jesus and the 12 split up to cover more ground in Israel with the gospel message. John the Baptist communicates his doubts and there is a lot to learn form how Jesus deals mercifully with his doubts. The legacy of Christianity and evidence starts as early as this. We also are challenged by this chapter to not be offended by Jesus and harden our hearts to the Father as a result.
