On her website she states, “My passion for art started as a child, drawing portraits for family members, homemade cards for my parents, and flip books of Courage the Cowardly Dog. I started to take art seriously when I was 15, creating a portrait of Queen Nefertiti. Since then, I became influenced by life experiences and dreams to guide my subject matters for my artwork. All of my art comes from a personal place as I would like to transfer what I feel and see through my work. It is so easy to be misunderstood through words but not so much through visual imagery because it is solely up to that person to channel your energy. As I go through life, each experience shapes my livelihood and through art, I would like for those who support me to take this journey with me!”
