Agriculture is Nebraska’s number one industry, and many of the policies that affect producers are shaped in Washington, D.C. One University of Nebraska–Lincoln student recently had the opportunity to see that process up close. Allison Walbrecht, a UNL senior, traveled to Washington as part of the CARET program and is also a Yeutter Student Fellow.
