Extreme temperatures during the growing season can wreak havoc on crops. We may not be able to control the weather, but researchers with the Center for Plant Science Innovation at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln are working toward developing crops with greater resistance to heat, cold, drought and other climate extremes. Our guest today, professor Rebecca Roston, is working toward crop varieties with improved resistance to cold temperatures.
