Some Random Thoughts

On Social Justice & Human Rights

Listen Later

Welcome to another episode of Some Random Thoughts. I am your host, Ryan Mulkowsky.

On this episode, I discuss the social worker movement and profession and its core values and ethical standards and principles including social justice. I also investigate the importance of social justice and look at the work of political philosopher John Rawls and his theory of justice, especially his famous thought experiment: the 'Veil of Ignorance'. Lastly, I talk about the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the hope for a more equitable, just world.
