Martin Theis grew up in a small town along the Rhine River in Germany. He started his coaching practice, Light Trails Co., after a decade of exploring non-ordinary and ordinary reality. The tools and teachings he uses are a combination of disciplines he learned from his teachers yet the strongest foundation lies within the Medicine Wheel and the art of shamanic journeying. He helps his students and the people around him through presence in combination with his shamanic education. His most recent occupations besides his coaching practice are DJ, Music Producer, Coffee Roaster, Convention and Festival Organizer, Carpenter/Builder, Vegan Chef, Caregiver, Sauna Host, Project Manager, Globetrotter, and Rainbow Warrior.

Martin's home bases are almost in exact opposition on the globe. Captain Cook, HI, and Cologne Germany.
