In this episode of the Next Step Podcast, nationally recognized singer/songwriter Kip Fox and author Justin Rossow talk about the music, lyrics, and theology of "On That Morning," the hymn for the second chapter of the When from Death I'm Free hymn journal for Holy Week.
Kip and Justin read the Scripture verse and devotion for chapter 2 in the book and then continue the discussion, touching on the creative process, the benefits of using a hymn-like setting for modern song writing, and the future of this particular piece of music. The speakers also touch on importance of the resurrection and the invitation to take your fear of failure to the Jesus who knew total failure and yet won the victory, for you.
You can take your fear of failure to Jesus and leave it with Him.
When you get rid of fear, you create a space for joy.
