Episode #2: Dr. Duane Arbogast, Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer | School District Leader | Former Chief Academic Officer

In today's episode, Todd sits down with Dr. Duane Arbogast of the Children's Guild. 

Allan (Duane) Arbogast serves The Children’s Guild Alliance as Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer.  He joined the Children’s Guild in 2014. He has direct responsibility for innovative educational program creation and expansion. 

Arbogast served Prince George’s County Public Schools as Chief Academic Officer in 2010 and served as the Acting Deputy Superintendent for Academics in 2012/2013. Prior to that time, he worked for 32 years in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools, serving as Senior Manager for Academic Accountability, a principal, assistant principal, and teacher. Arbogast received a Masters of Education and a Doctorate of Education from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

He has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland. He was on the Governor’s Effective Education Council, was a member of the Class of 2007 Leadership Anne Arundel County, and serves as a board member of Grassroots Education Nepal.
