Episode #15: Scott Kerwien, Executive Director of Student Success, Spokane Public Schools

In today's episode, Todd sat down with Scott Kerwien, the Executive Director of Student Success for Spokane Public Schools in Washington state.

Scott Kerwien was a high school counselor for nine years prior to his four years as a district leader with Spokane Public Schools. During his nine years as a high school counselor, he served as a caseload and then a college and career counselor focusing on access and opportunity for all students to pursue their post-secondary dreams. More recently during his time with Spokane Public Schools as the Executive Director of Student Success he has focused on using data, data visualizations, and post-secondary partnerships to support counselors, students, and families to eliminate barriers to post-secondary education, training, and certification or degree attainment to access a living wage.
