Always mission driven in her love of local government affairs, Annsley has worn many hats in this industry, from working with local representatives to interning with law firms and trying out law school, to her current work with Lake Erie West Regional Council, formerly Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments (TMACOG). We sat down with Annsley to talk about how Lake Erie West helps our region, how local government affairs impact young professionals, and how giving back to your community is paramount.

The Arts Commission’s Youth Services Director Natalie Gray has spent her life enveloped in the arts. But unlike most who start their involvement with appreciation for the arts, Natalie actively creates ways to provide arts access for the Toledo community, and carries a particular passion for empowering and educating the next generation of young artists through her programs like Young Artists at Work. We talked with Natalie about the importance of arts access and education, her volunteer work with some of Toledo’s creative nonprofits, and how being in the moment can be life-changing.
