Hello and welcome to National Poetry Month, The Corner style! This will be a month long celebration of poetry! That's right, a new drop EVERY DAY for a month! Here is Day Two!

Today's selection is from the poet that I loudly credit for sparking my love of poetry, e.e. cummings! The collection is called Selected Poems and serves as a "greatest hits' of sorts. In this collection is THE poem that did it for me, that is the first poem that got me, "since feeling is first"! It also has a piece that I have taught various high school students and, as it turned out, sparked a love a poetry in many of them as well. That poem is "i thank you God for most this amazing day"!
