Theme: It is important for us to gather together for worship and fellowship
Sermon Scripture: Revelation 7:9-12, Acts 2:44-47, & Hebrews 10:24-25
Opening Scripture: Hebrews 10:24-25
God invites us to gather together often to encourage one another, support each other, and worship together. I can certainly praise God alone at home and find that meaningful, but it will never replace the full experience of worshipping side by side with a sea of other voices! I can have a coffee and sweet treat alone in my apartment, and it’s nice. It, however, does not compare to the energy and sweetness of fellowshipping with others after church. God created us to be in fellowship, gathered together before His holy throne.
Our first Discipleship Pathway is Gathering. Regularly, consistently, faithfully, we are called by God to gather TOGETHER in His presence! And what an absolute joy it truly is!
