First, The plaintiff says his daughter is in the process of divorcing the defendant, who claims the last straw was when her husband spent the night at her friend’s house. The plaintiff is suing his son-in-law for stolen money. The defendant denies owing anything. 

Then, The plaintiff brings her daughter to court. She says she co-signed on a car for the defendant on the stipulation that it would not get repossessed. The car ended up getting repossessed, so she’s suing for breach of contract, pawn fees, and emotional distress. The defendant is countersuing for emotional distress.
