Dr. Gregory Goins
Dr. Gregory D. Goins is the Associate Dean for Agricultural Research and a Professor of Crop Science at North Carolina A&T State University. He is the co-author of the 2010 USDA 4-H National Youth Science Experiment (the first-ever and only 4-H National Science Experiment to originate from an 1890 Land-Grant University). In 2020 he led the creation of the Small Farms Resource and Innovation Center (SFRIC) in the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (CAES). He is currently leading a team of researchers across the state on a Phase I NSF Regional Innovation Engine Project. The Innovation Engine is developing a 42-county Agricultural Tech Innovation Corridor purposed to benefit underserved areas of the state.
