Hey everyone, I’m Mike, she’s Sophie, that’s Brenda, and he’s Grogu, and we’re On the Road with Mickey! This is episode 209 and this week we’re looking at “Best Snacks that AREN’T on the Disney Dining Plan!” We came up with this list because of our discussion a few weeks back about the best snacks on the Disney Dining Plan, and we though we should see what our favorite snacks are that aren’t on the plan. Here’s what we talked about:

  • Cheddar from the Big Cheese:
    • Sophie: The Date: June 6, 2024: The Location: Tokyo DisneySea: The Event: The opening of Fantasy Springs! This is the 8th port at Tokyo DisneySea and will be home to three areas inspired by the Disney movies Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan. Additionally, the all-new Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel. There’s Frozen Kingdom, which features Arendelle with rides, food, and more. Then there’s Rapunzel’s Forest, with Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival ride. Eat at The Snuggly Duckling!     • Brenda: Last week, February 27th to be exact, Disney released inventory for 2025 from January – October! That is unheard of in our experiences as travel agents! Usually 2025 pricing is coming out in June.
    • Mike: Two things about the bookings for next year – 1) Every new booking in 2025 will receive a one day ticket to one of the two Disney Water Parks that you can use on the day you check-in only. 2) If you have a room only reservation, in 2025 cancellations of room only reservations now have to be done 8 days prior to check-in; in the past it was 5 days prior to check-in.
