Episode 292 – Christmas Decor at the Resorts!
Christmas Decor at the Resorts!

Hey everyone, I’m Mike, she’s Sophie, that’s Brenda, and he’s Grogu, and We’re On the Road with Mickey! This is episode 292, and our feature topic this week is Christmas Decor at the Resorts! Today’s episode is about the ways that Disney goes all out at the resorts to provide that magical feeling of Christmas! Here’s what we talked about:

  • Cheddar from the Big Cheese:
    • Sophie: This week’s Cheddar is devoted to refurbishment news. For me, two new permits were issued for the location formerly known as Muppet Vision 3D, and the contractors are companies known for their work on other Disney attractions. This speaks to the work shifting into a more active phase of construction.
    • Brenda: Over at Disneyland, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is going to close for a refurbishment on January 20, 2026. We don’t know how long it will be closed
    • Mike:The official closing date for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith was announced. The last day to ride the attraction before it begins work to be transformed into the Muppets is March 1, 2026; it will be closed on March 2, 2026.
