The National Brotherhood of Skiers was founded in 1973 with a mission of expanding a love of skiing and other winter sports within the Black community, and supporting talented Black skiers chasing olympic dreams.

The organization celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, and current NBS president Henri Rivers shares his love of skiing, the current status of the organization, and how to nurture a love of winter sports in children.
