In this episode, Ty and I discuss how he defines success, and how we all 'find' success and chase it differently. We talk about going to college and getting a degree vs. putting yourself straight into the work and learning how to be successful in that way. Learning and applying can also be different for everyone! We then discuss how sometimes in the way we were raised, and/or how we watched our parents created this innate responsibility within ourselves to go chase after our own successes. Ty quickly learned how he wanted to 'work smarter, not harder.' Whatever your craft, Ty mentions however you can best create value, people will pay for it. "Banks create money out of no where, why can't we?" At the same time, if you see someone having success, go do what they did and try to do it better! Your implementation and your personality are your trademark. Ty reminds us that successful people hang around successful people, go do the same, and you will level up naturally. In this episode, Jordan and I discuss his own athletic journey, to then becoming an Athletic Trainer and continuing his education through TB12. Jordan played BYU Rugby and had experienced injuries of his own, which then led to meeting and working with Alex Guerrero (Co-Founder of TB12). Him and I discuss what it's like to work around athletes, and the process of getting them to heal faster. This episode shows how we both speak the same language and have an understanding of the sports & performance industry, business, and a "progressive" mindset shared by athletes we're blessed to work by and with. My discussion with Mika highlights the journey of playing football from a younger age, through high school and on to the NFL.
