This is the podcast of my video conversation with Terry Flew, Professor of Communication and Creative Industries in the Creative Industries Faculty at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia. We talk about his tenure as President of the International Communication Association during the global coronavirus crisis, about the role of truth and trust in relationships between journalism and publics, and the productive tension between understanding global media and studying (as well as appreciating) local media cultures, policies and systems.
